"What we achieve inwardly will change outer reality."

Plutarch is today's author.

Not necessarily a profound thought but sometimes perhaps overlooked. We live in a world where out outward actions often define us. Nice. Funny. Rude. Engaging. Quiet. These are outer actions although I gather they are often not necessarily a reflection of our inner achievements.

Our current time is a selfish one in many ways but it's hardest of all selfish things to truly force inner achievement. We hide things, insecurities, flaws. Mask them with often these outer actions.

It is hard to remember to take time and reflect on what we want to gain inside ourselves. Confidence sitting alone in a bar. Inner quiet and peace amidst a racing mind. Progression upwards a higher sense of spirituality. Whatever it is, not even a skill perhaps, but a small, inner achievement. We should champion them in ourselves and remember to reflect on how profound it's outer effect is. When the goal is internal, no outer motivation, what do we have to lose except gaining a greater reality?

"What we achieve inwardly will change outer reality."
